Welcome
Familiar music, played with warmth.
Vintage Basow brings American favorites to anniversaries, reunions, receptions, community gatherings, and other celebrations.
Our repertoire ranges from jazz standards and nostalgic ballads to show tunes, the Beatles, Neil Diamond, Elton John, Billy Joel, fiddle tunes, country songs, and soft rock. We especially enjoy playing songs that are older than we are—familiar favorites for friends old and new.
Meet Vintage Basow
Start with the duo. Build the band you need.
At its heart, Vintage Basow is the musical partnership of Lynn and Bob Basow. For most occasions, the duo provides everything that's needed: warm, familiar music at a comfortable volume.
When the occasion calls for a fuller sound, we can add bass, drums, or both.
The Vintage Basow Duo
Our signature sound
Lynn Basow — Violin & Piano
Bob Basow — Piano & Guitar
Intimate, versatile, and ideal for most gatherings. The duo can provide relaxed background music or step forward with familiar favorites when the music is part of the celebration.
Add a Rhythm Section
For a fuller sound
Dean Jordan — Bass Guitar
Bruce Roberts — Drums
For larger gatherings or occasions that call for more rhythmic energy, add bass, drums, or both. You get a fuller ensemble while keeping the easygoing Vintage Basow sound.
